Website SEO Tips

seo

Search Engine Optimization! That's the buzzword for amplifying page ranks today. Bill Gates once quoted, if you can't make it good, at least make it look good. While the internet has become the mainstream of any and every business, individuals and companies are doing everything it takes to keep on the top. Top? Where? Well, top on the search engine ranking. Today, companies who practice effective Search Engine Optimization (SEO) by enhancing their website attributes are able to boost traffic from the search engine. There are a number of website SEO tips and constituents that are worth considering before you launch a website of your product or business. However, before we zero in to the tips and tricks to increase web traffic, lets get acquainted with how does this SEO thing work for the web. After all, you want to target maximum audience, don't you?

Search Engine Optimization: How Does it Work?

Make people want you more. Nothing is as dreadful as lowered search engine ranking. Don't you agree? When you put everything into designing a website that would, in future, bestow upon you endless profits, even a single dimension gone wrong can take your website far away from being the numero uno. That's where effective search engine optimization comes into play. It not only helps in improving search engine rankings of a website, but also makes sure you get hits in bulk regularly. But what to do in order to get optimization right and rankings boosted up? Well, with the help of the right search engine optimization, you just need to take care of the right keywords (the ones you think are the most searched words), structure the site in a way that Google crawlers easily move over, and measure as well as analyze traffic in terms of sales. The following website SEO tips will help you getting a load of how to exactly do all that. Have a go!

Website Top SEO Tips and Tricks

Believe me, it's not a cake walk. With countless websites launched everyday, and new content getting developed every single second, it is almost impossible to amplify the rankings of your website on Google. However, with some easy SEO tips put forth here, you can easily make your website's presence felt in an ocean of 'n' number of web-pages on the giant search engine. So, here we go with the seven most important and webpage SEO tips you-cant-afford-to-miss:

Tip #1: Keywords are the Key!
Having a website with content that is worthless, and does not contain words that are the most searched on the web is sheer wastage! You need to do effective keywords research, thereby, using maximum keywords in your content which will get more and more hits. Google Adwords can help you judging which words have the most number of hits, and accordingly, you can include them in your content research.

Tip #2: Be 'Bold' Enough!
HTML tags that bold, italic, and underline your content must be used everywhere. The most important thing while optimizing content is to use as many tags as possible. There is a plethora of cool HTML codes for your convenience. Okay, that doesn't mean you flood your content with unnecessary bolds and underlines! Just keep in mind that Google crawlers identify and lay emphasis on these tags the most.

Tip #3: Go Hyperlinking!
Links are an essential part of search engine optimization. Links make navigation extremely easy, as when you link different pages of your website, the crawlers think there is a lot of significance in your content, and hence, they will surely boost your website rankings. Same is the case with links within the text. The links should be arranged in such a way that the crawlers always have something new to enter into, and not go back to the homepage.

Tip #4: Content that Contents Readers!
Quality, more than quantity, matters. You need not have a 10,000-words long article as it would do no good but distract the crawler. Instead, you need to have adequate website content having significant knowledge, keywords, links and something unique for every reader. Subtle language, not offensive at all, and something that a reader learns from… contributes to the best produced content.

Tip #5: Title Optimization!
Well, one might not judge a book by its cover, but it's not the same case here. A good title is one of the most important website SEO tips to be kept in mind. The title should have as many keywords as possible, along with a meta title. Meta tags explained in a simple manner can help you understand what is the importance of having different titles and tags on every page. In simple words, in order to stay at the top, you need to have the most attractive title and content that satisfies the user in a way that he doesn't go on any other result.

Tip #6: Acknowledge Yourself on Social Media!
In other words, bookmark your websites on various web pages so that the users find different ways to navigate through your site. This is called social bookmarking which is essential to effective SEO, and can prove to be immensely beneficial to website owners who struggle for higher rankings on the internet search engine. Social bookmarking will put the information on your website to a wide audience, which will also help in getting introduced to new clients all over the world for an enduring period of time. After all, it is a giant platform you're bookmarking your website on!

Tip #7: Update Your Website Regularly!
This is, perhaps, the last and the most important tip, people miss out on. Too often, many website owners create onetime content, and forget it. You need to understand that with new content being introduced on the web, it is more than hard to keep an effective hold on the web market. Hence, regularly updated content, a fresh interface, and latest keywords can not only amplify your search engine rankings, but also keep you on top. So what if thousands of web pages come over Google everyday? You have your updated content ready to slump the others down!

Hopeful as I am, the above tips must have satiated your appetite of information about how to increase your rankings with search engine optimization strategies, has it? While it dreads me to even mention the countless bits and nuances that one needs to ponder over while doing successful search engine optimization of a website, the above seven website SEO tips, according to me, are the ones you can't do without. Beyond everything, reaching the numero uno isn't the only destination for a search engine optimizer. Instead, one needs to have his website extremely user-friendly to keep that attention soaring high. Moreover, you may even be successful in fooling Google crawlers, but eventually, it is the audience of your site that is the ultimate judge of how worthy your website is!

Future of Internet Search

Designer : Mac funamizu

I think this is the coolest concept I have ever seen.Well this is future of internet search. This is what I wish the internet search will be able to do with a mobile device in the NEAR future. Touch screen, built in camera, scanner, WiFi, google map (hopefully google earth), google search, image search… all in one device. Like this way, when you can see a building through it, it gives you the image search result right on the spot.

Choose a building and touch a floor and it tells you more details of the building.
Well, it doesn’t have to be a building, but it can be any object you see. You can use it when you want to know a car model, an insect name, what kind of food is served at a restaurant and how much, who built a bridge, etc. etc.

It’s got a scanner built in, so you can use it this way when you want to check the meaning of a word in the newspaper, book, magazine, etc.

It would be much easier to read a real book. You can use the dictionary, wikipedia, thesaurus and anything else available on the web. What do you think?

Indoor guide
Works in a building, airport, station, hospital, etc.

Automatic simultaneous translation

Search keyword
Helpful when you want to find out a word from a lot of text

Here are some more examples of how you might be able to use the device

Future of Mobile Search for Diet

Information about nutrition

Getting data of a weather forecast, maybe this might be possible.

When you wonder what the scene you’re looking at was like in the past, you can see it.

This might be off-topic, but it would be nice if it could work in sync with Google Maps like this.

Visual aid for any book. It means any book can be a picture book.

If it could be wirelessly in sync with your mobile phone or other mobile devices, visualized data exchange could be done like Microsoft Surface, but with this device, you wouldn’t have to stick with 2D.

Virtual Shopping

I am a big fan of the designer of this concept Mr. Mac funamizu and I am just trying to spread his invention. Please visit his blog if you like this concept. He is working on something else also.

USB Fishquarium

Swim swim. Ooh, pens! Swim swim. Ooh, pens! Swim swim...

If you're like most geeks, your work environment can be a depressing and sterile place. Designed to crush your soul to squeeze the last few ergs of energy out of each and every wageslave, grey walls, grey carpeting, and anemic flickering fluorescent lighting all combine into something truly evil. Unfortunately, you've got bills to pay, so you punch in every morning and punch out every night feeling a little more dead with each passing day.

You'd love to have some kind of decoration - some bright point of color and light in your otherwise dreary existence, but the cube-police won't allow it, citing some bogus OSHA regulation or something. Something to do with not being allowed to plug personal items into the power outlet. If only there was some unregulated power source - electricity that even they couldn't complain about.

What if we told you that you could have a pencil cup with a nice bright LED light to illuminate your workplace powered entirely by USB? "Boring," you'd probably say, and we would agree. What if we threw in a nice clock and calendar and temperature sensor? "Better," you say, "but still not amazing." Okay, how about if we play soothing sounds of nature designed to calm your frazzled nerves. "For reals?" We're not done yet.

You get all that PLUS we throw in a real working fishtank so you can keep a couple aquatic friends with you while you work. "Whut?" you say, head cocked at a quizzical angle. No, we're absolutely serious. We've found a low-voltage USB fishtank that runs ENTIRELY off of your computers built-in USB power. Plug it in, fill it with water, and drop (gently) a betta or a couple of white-cloud minnows inside, and watch as they swim and dart about, happily frolicking on your desk! (Granted with beta fish there's less frolicking and more floating in catatonia, but you get the idea.)

Suddenly, your desk isn't as depressing as it was. There is life where there was once the vampiric dead-zone of workplace efficiency. Feel refreshed as you gaze at your happy swimming friends. Hooray! Just don't forget to feed them. The tank may be USB powered, but your fish are not.

Features

  • USB Power Connector
  • Multifunction penholder
  • Nature sounds
  • Multicolor interior lights
  • Adjustable overhead light
  • Under-gravel filtration system
  • Low voltage pump
  • LCD Calendar with time/date; week/temperature
  • Alarm clock with snooze feature and countdown timer
  • Includes gravel and decorative plastic plant
  • Fish not included
  • Clock and Calendar uses 3 AA batteries (not included)
  • Dimensions
    • Tank Interior: 145 mm x 90 mm x 120 mm
    • Exterior: 240 mm x 90 mm x 140 mm

Minoru 3D Webcam

Minoru 3D Webcam - Worlds First 3-Dimentional Web Camera

Most films today are being released in 3D format in order to give you a realistic 3-dimentional view of the scene. If you have ever watched a 3D movie with a pair of 3D glasses, then you will surely know how good it feels. It's like you can actually feel the real world and you feel as you are part of all the things around you. So now it's time to bring all of that fun into your very own day to day web cam chats.

Here is the Minoru 3D Webcam. This gadget is the world's first ever 3D web cam bringing you pure excitement as its' name "Minoru" means 'reality' in Japanese. It will capture all the action in 3D and is capable of creating a perfect 3D effect.

The look of this gadget is just awesome. It looks like a little red robot friend with a few limbs, staring at you with its two huge eyes. Setting up your friend is as easy as plugging him into the computers' USB port and completing a few settings. The multi-positioning limbs mean that your friend will easily be able sit on the desk, or rest on the top of your monitor.

The web cam has two cameras, which are mounted on both sides and spaced apart like human eyes. The eyes have lights, which light up as you start recording. Both cameras record frames simultaneously to create two offset video frames. As the frames are combined together they create what is called the stereoscopic effect, or you could call it 3D imaging.

The web cam uses 2 x 640x480 sensors with 2 wide-angle high quality lenses and a microphone built-in. The image output ranges between 320x240 and 800x600 with images at the rate of 30 frames per second.

You can use this web cam for face-to-face chats with regular messaging programs like Skype, MSN Messenger, AOL Messenger and other video conferencing programs. And to add to the fun, your family or friends will be wearing a pair of 3d glasses to see you in 3D.

The capabilities don't end there because you can even use this gadget to shoot 3D pictures or make your own homemade 3D videos to put on Youtube. If however you do feel reverting back to 2D then the camera will function as a normal web cam and let you record in 2D. Maybe that's for people who just can't afford to buy a cheap pair of 3D glasses. But I am pretty sure that once you and your friends and family start buzzing in 3-Dimension, you won't want to come back to the flat world of 2D ever again.

Aw, and this thing has an award as "Fans Favorite" at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Features:

  • World's first 3D webcam by Minoru
  • Dual Camera
  • Video Chating with family and friends in 3D
  • Create personal 3D videos
